UNDERDOG HEALTH is uniquely suited to develop and produce a wide range of health education and corporate communications. Executive Producer Elaine Epstein has 15 years of experience in public health and media education. Born in Durban, South Africa Epstein played an active role in the development of South Africa's AIDS policy through her work developing and creating some of the country's early HIV/AIDS mass media education campaigns and health interventions.

In 1996 Epstein moved to New York to take a position at Columbia University's HIV Center for Clinical and Behavioral Studies, where she produced HOT'97's HIV/AIDS and STD education radio campaign for African-American youth.

Since moving to New York Epstein has produced numerous award winning health related television broadcasts, public service announcements and health education videos for clients including HBO, The Discovery Health Channel, The Centers For Disease Control, and CHEST.

Epstein maintains an active speaking schedule. She has been invited to speak about the use of media to address to health issues at numerous universities, organizations and community- based groups including Harvard University, NYU, Columbia University, Cornell University, The Carter Center, and the Sesame Workshop.
